Convention 2010

Active 20-30 Santa Rosa #50 is looking forward to hosting the 2010 Convention in beautiful Sonoma County, Northern California. We have chosen the historic Flamingo Hotel as the venue. For those of you have been in the 20-30 for a while, you will remember the hotel from the 1995 and 2000 conventions. We are looking forward to a fun evening with a great Opening Ceremony honoring our past Presidents and past actives, Nations/Typical Night, Gala dinner and Blue Rooms. During the day we will have AGM's, board meetings and classes but we will also be offering daily pool parties, a work project, and tours. Your convention dues also include a tour of the Redwoods followed by a tour of Korbel Winery, ending with a great lunch and private party at Foppoli winery.


There are a few recommendations:

  1. Register for convention and hotel IMMEDIATELY. SEE WHO HAS REGISTERED SO FAR.
  2. Come early. We are hosting a 4th of July extravaganza on July 4th.
  3. Fly into Sonoma County Airport (STS). Sonoma County Airport is 10 minutes from the convention site. The next closest airports are Oakland and San Francisco which are at least 1.5 hours away.
  4. Give us your flight details. We will be providing shuttles from Oakland and San Francisco at least once a day. Once again, to avoid possible wait time at the airport and a long ride, please look at flying into Sonoma County Airport.
